Design/Working Principles

The TS-G Series thermal protector operates by passing current through a resistive overheating protection element. As the current increases or the ambient temperature rises to the set trip point, the bimetallic element rapidly actuates, opening the contacts to cut off the circuit. When the device cools down to a safe operating temperature, the contacts automatically close, restoring power.
